Abstract

On October 23-25, 2018, one of the most famous auction houses in the world, Christie’s, held an international auction, where the painting “Portrait of Edmond Belamy” was sold for 432,500 USD. You probably won't find anything strange about this story until you learn that the drawing in question was created by artificial intelligence.

So what distinguishes a program from a human? Where is the line drawn between a thinking person and artificial intelligence? Is artificial intelligence taking over “humanity” and stealing it from us? Is it a new subject of the future or an absurd utopia?

What is artificial intelligence? - The answer to this question is as broad as its capabilities. It may be the science of creating technologies that can think like humans. By studying the thought process of humans, this technology is able to provide solutions to problems that would normally be solved by a standard person, but technology has taken on its auxiliary function.

Artificial intelligence systems are usually designed to simulate human cognitive abilities and improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation in various fields, such as medicine (where the latter, especially recently, has achieved great success); art; jurisprudence; education, etc.

The scope of artificial intelligence is not as broad as it seems at first glance. It is limited by the narrow intellectual boundaries that Which man, at one time, of his own free will, has set for himself and is subject to the limits that man has set for himself. The relevance of the issue of the dangers of artificial intelligence is neither unnecessary nor urgent. It is necessary for jurisprudence to establish a scope of action for the “electronic person”, where, in turn, there will be no technological restrictions or violations of fundamental human rights.
