Abstract

As a result of 2012 parliamentary elections and since the beginning of Georgian Dream Coalition’s rule, a sharp ideological and political confrontation between liberal and right-wing groups covered Georgian political life. The situation is being hardened by a political polarization between former and current authorities and at the same time by a continuation of Russian occupation. The given work aims to research a representation of liberal ideology in the narratives/rhetoric of Georgian right-wing subjects. Particularly, Georgian March – National Movement, ERI, Conservative Movement/Alt-Info along with Alliance of Patriots and lastly, Georgia First are explored in this paper. Research work actively uses a methodology of qualitative content-analysis, as rests more on primary sources and also review the secondary scientific literature. The main finding of research work is that right-wing subjects frequently speak with tactless vocabulary and abuse liberal ideology in Georgia. The main recommendation of the research paper is that the political processes in Georgia should be conducted with politically correct language, which would partially cool down the heated tensions between them in the future.
